(Napton to Cropredy)
Boaters still commonly place their hand-painted Buckby cans on the roofs of their boats for ornamentation. I placed ours on the roof just for this photo. Thanks to the magic of "trick photography", this small can almost seemed larger. This was our mooring spot for the evening. This mooring spot was in the visitor moorings just before Cropredy, and just before bridge 151. Actually, although Pearson's Guide shows the location of this bridge, the old bridge is gone and only the footings and narrowing of the canal provide any evidence of the former bridge.
