DAY 2: TUESDAY, JUNE 21, 2005
(Napton to Cropredy)

Mooring earlier gave us time to relax outside as well. Still, it was probably 8:00 p.m. when we pulled in here. Based on our experiences the night before, I decided we would moor at the first open spot in the visitor moorings outside of Cropredy. That turned out to be a good move. When I walked up the towpath to explore the canal ahead, all of the visitor mooring spots ahead were taken. The lesson to be learned...if cruising into the evening, don't expect to get a mooring spot close in.
