(Cropredy to Aynho Wharf)
We walked up into town and the first place we came to was St. Mary the Virgin church. This man was walking by and saw what looked like a few interesting tourists. So, he came up and introduced himself as Martin Lester. As Treasurer and founder of the local Historical Society, he was a font of information about the town and church. He gave us a guided tour of the church, the grounds and even part of the town.
