Raining harder now, we wait for a small boat to come out of Shipton Weir Lock. The River Cherwell is in the background, the South Oxford canal is to the back of the camera. Again, notice the wider diamond-shaped lock mainly in use to control the river's fluctuating levels when getting on or off the canal.
