(Tackley Area to Oxford)
This is about as far south as the Oxford canal goes. Hythe Bridge Arm is home to permanently moored residential boats with mail service and gardens. Some even had outdoor lighting. (As shown on the left in this photo). This area is part of the Jericho neighborhood and one web site jokingly refers to this as the "Jericho Riviera." We walked along here to get to Hythe Bridge Street and into the heart of Oxford.
