(Cropredy to Aynho Wharf)
You meet the nicest people on the canals. This guy helped us work the lower lock gate at Aynho Weir lock, then we ran into him again at our mooring. He said we did good by mooring where we did because all of the spots farther ahead toward the center of Anyho Wharf were taken. He went on to tell me that he and his wife have a boat and have logged about 5,000 miles on the canals. The only spot he had not yet covered was northern England in the Yorkshire area.
