DAY 14: SUNDAY, JULY 3, 2005
(Between Napton Junction and Braunston to Rugby)

At this point, we have already made it back to Rugby, but passed by and waved to Paul and his family at Clifton Cruisers, telling them we were going to head toward Newbold tonight, then make it back for the boat to be turned in tomorrow morning. This is our appoach to Newbold Tunnel. We wanted to go through at least one tunnel on this trip and Newbold Tunnel, at 250 yards in length, was it. Newbold tunnel lacks the drama of really long tunnels like the one east of Braunston, but we went through and turned around about a half mile north of here. That was the farthest north we got on this trip.
