DAY 14: SUNDAY, JULY 3, 2005
(Between Napton Junction and Braunston to Rugby)

I failed to get photos of the entire interior, but did snap a couple of photos of the kitchen. Haddon was built in 2003, so at most the boat was two years old when we boarded. There are certainly advantages to newer boats. The diesel engine was very quiet, the fixtures and appliances were modern and worked well and the boat came with both a toaster and microwave, two appliances we did not have on an earlier trip. The boat was also equipped with an inverter to deliver English 240 volt AC power. (We had a converter to operate our 120 volt appliances). All in all, it was a fine boat that served us well over the two weeks.
