canal17 First Night Mooring
At the end of our first day out, we moored between bridges 67 and 68 in the countryside just beyond Frankton Junction. One could moor anywhere along the canal where it was wide enough for other boats to pass. Just drive some stakes into the ground along the towpath side and tie up. Good mooring technique requires one at front, one at back and one in the middle.
