Not a very glamorous photo, but one of the necessities of a canal boat trip is finding a self-service launderette from time to time. There are entire web sites devoted to indentifying launderettes along the canals of England. (Such as Launderette List). (While hire boats don't generally include them, a few private boats have small combo washing machines and clothes dryers on board). Although we washed out some clothes by hand, we did take advantage of this launderette in Banbury on Broad Street.
