(Stockton to Warwick, bridge 46)
Kyle and our lock partner seem to be discussing the strategy for getting out of the lock and into the next one. You can see other locks up the hill and there are more to come. (Stockton Locks is a series of 10 locks). Sometimes, our two boats would encounter another two boats coming out of the next lock. There was no apparent protocol for who would pass on which side, other than the usual protocol of keeping to the right. But, with two boats meeting another two boats "head on", defensive driving was in order.
